To be quite honest the FCC could get away with fining a station for it.

If they chose to they could easily get away with it. They almost got away with a massive fine for a unplanned f-bomb on live TV by Bono. In a case like this the guys in the truck see it and then 20 seconds later decide to show it in slow mo. If the FCC wanted to they could do it but they never will nor should they.

He wrote a 900 page paper on the FCC.

No but I did have a media law prof that worked for the FCC for nearly a decade.

an OU WR (Manny Johnson) did something similar 2 seasons ago, but it was a clean disloaction, so they popped it in, put him in a brace and he was back in like 5 weeks.

PLAYOFFS, BITCHES

Yeah yeah yeah. Might be different if my team had it's best player for even a portion of the season. The fact that Houston is above .500 without Yao and having not played one of our best players until he was traded and then have the guy we got in return get injured right away (plus the loss of Landry in the trade) is as good as it can get. I am happy we aren't going to make playoffs because without Yao we wouldn't be winning any championship so I would rather miss and get a chance in the lottery for a top 10 pick.

Will you be attending any of the playoff games?

Yeah, already took a week off during the first round.

Good call not bothering with any time off during the second round.

Hahahahaha.

I can't hate, I put money on the celtics to win the senior league NBA title this year.

Pretty exciting time of year. NCAA Tournament, MLB Opening Day, NBA Playoffs. Sadly, I think the Magic will have to make the Finals again (or win it all) to avoid this year being a disappointment. Hopefully a team gets hot and knocks out the Cavs before we get to them. I'm not confident about winning a seven-game series against them two years in a row.

can't wait for that lawsuit!

I thought there was no way you were this dumb but then I realized you are an Illinois fan so now I'm not sure.

I'm shakin in my boots.

Like I said the FCC would never do it but they could if they really wanted. Maybe you don't know how brutal they are. They once fined an Indiana high school (Beech Grove?) almost $20,000 for missing a station id. This was a station solely run by high school students and didn't really sell ads or anything. It was solely there to get high school students experience. That radio station closed after the fine. The FCC ignores some things and cracks the whip on others. Some of the fines they hand out are borderline criminal.

The Pistons are now tied for the 3rd worst record in the league with Washington and Golden State. The Kings are a half game back. They've lost 11 straight and if they can just lose to Philly at home, there's a decent chance they lose their next 5 before finishing at Minnesota.

This 2-18 stretch has been the best thing that could have happened this year. I was afraid they were going to get healthy and finally put it together.

The amount that this story isn't true is immeasurable.
