I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned before but Luol Deng is a very selfish basketball player. This dude passes up on passing to wide open guys to go iso on a double team. And make a free throw please.

He's not always as bad as he was tonight. That was some awful basketball by him tonight. He passed up several open guys in order to try to score over 3 guys in the lane as you said. At one point, Kirk put his hands up angry that Deng blatantly ignored him (Deng was looking in his direction before turning around and putting up a contested shot). To his credit, he's probably the teams second best scorer and he's been effective getting shots in the lane lately.

And he probably thinks Hinrich can't shoot.

Correction: He probably knows damn well that Hinrich can't shoot.

Hey Iverson, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to dribble when you run like that.

EDIT: Holy crap, Warrick!

EDITx2: LOL Noah.

Bulls up 27 midway through the 4th, entire rotation has between 12 and 18 points. 2 turnovers for the team to this point.

I've already seen more post moves from Warrick in these two games than I ever saw from Tyrus.

Some of the dunks tonight were more spectacular than anything we saw last Saturday night. That was fun.

Gibson has been looking really good. Hopefully he's just going to expand that core of Rose-Noah-Deng in terms of good young players that people are going to want to be on a team with.

great game by Gibson. 20 points, 13 boards and a +32

Lately, it seems like he's a guy that's always close to getting a double-double every game. For an extremely weak draft class, we should be thrilled that we were able to land him 26th overall. I criticized the pick just as much as anybody else and he's done a fantastic job in making me eat my words.

I shredded the Bulls for taking him over DeJuan Blair. Not so dumb after all.

Me too. And everyone I know.

I didn't shred him, because I never heard of him before the draft. But after watching him play, he seems to be a more athlethic version of Horace Grant.

but blair is a dump truck on a trampoline! the greatest rebounder in the history of college basketball. there's no way gibson could be better than him!

like i said, there's a reason he didn't go high.

Blair's per-minute stats blow Taj's out of the water.

Per 36 minutes:

Blair: 15.3 points, 12.6 boards, 55% shooting

Taj: 12 points, 9.8 boards, 48% shooting

Taj is a little bit better shotblocker and turns it over a bit less. I'd still rather have Blair. Taj isn't that good, and he's three years old than Blair is.

in 3 years taj gibson will be 26 and dejaun blair will be 23

of course, dejaun blair will also be on injured reserve. advantage = gibson

also, preemptive "stop talking redflash"

Whenever something spectacular happens I have to hush my friends because I want to hear Stacey King's call.

Stacey king is the best NBA announcer there is. (if you are a homer and love tangents about Stewey Griffin)
