Or, is VDN just that bad? He hasn't exactly had a stellar team to work with.

 

He has a perfectly average team to work with complete with a true superstar. We've seen the Bulls have too many halves or quarters where everything breaks down even to the fundamentals. You can't dump that all on the players. We've seen too much glaringly stupid playcalling and streategies (or lack thereof) to give VDN a break and blame it all on the team.

Not really. Skiles didn't give him much of a chance but VDN did. What will it take for people to realize that Tyrus Thomas isn't very good?

I'd shut him down for at least a month and then ask him if his foot is any better. If he still can't test it properly, then I have no issue at all with shutting him down for the rest of the year.
