Dude has a .391 OBP and he started off like hell. He may not have provided the power you want, but he has been a productive player.

It would be a typical Cubs move to diminish his value and then trade him while getting very little in return.

Hey fucktards. Stop trying to justify your hatred of Bradley using pointless stats like BA and RBI. At least with your ridiculous semantic arguments like "middle of the order" you almost have a leg to stand on.

This is such a strange situation.

I understand what SSR and others are saying.

I think Milton wanted to come to Chicago to get a "fresh" start. I think Cub fans were willing to give him his fresh start, but after his slow start I think Cub fans just said, screw this lets get on his case. And I think once that happened and the booing started Milton (who is really sensitive) went on the offensive.

I belive when the Cubs got Bradley, they were expecting a .900 OPS outta him. He obviously has not met this. He has not hit for anywhere close to the power they expected outta him (.400 SLG). And RBI is a terrible way to judge a players value, but when the Cubs signed him the fans "expected" more then 34 RBI, no matter how dumb that may sound to guys who understand that RBI is a terrible way to judge a players production. To some fans 34 RBI means, terrible player.

I can also see what other guys are saying,

They payed Milton to drive in runs. Even though that sounds stupid and again RBI IS A TERRIBLE way to judge a players performance. Even with him hitting with guys on base, your not gonna drive in alot of runs with a .400 SLG%.

Cub fans who boo Bradley are pissed because he is not hitting the home runs and not driving in runs. However, he is still being productive. The guy is still getting on base at around .400, so he is still a valuable player. You can always find a spot for a guy with a OBP of .400.

If Soriano/Soto doesn't completly crap the bed this year and Aramis doesn't get hurt. Bradley wouldn't even be a issue right now. He is not hitting as well as everyone expected but he is still productive. He should'nt be getting booed everytime he gets out and everytime he goes out to RF. That would drive me crazy to if I was him. However, he also doesn't need to talk and say something stupid everytime he gets the chance. He is making it worse.

To some fans 34 RBI and 400 SLG % = terrible production for WHAT THE CUBS BROUGHT HIM HERE TO DO.

Fixed for truth and accuracy. These are not numbers you can live with from a [expletive] corner outfielder.

Stop pretending RBI means a [expletive] thing for individuals. It doesn't, and no amount of bitching will change that.

Milton Bradley has 233 AB's out of the 3, 4 and 5 hole. He has a whopping 6 HR and 20 RBI in those spots. That is less than pathetic. Put that into a full season, you have about 15 HR and 55 RBI from postions in the order that must produce.

He hasn't done it. But yes, lets defend this clowns antics. If he produced, this would be a non issue.

Agreed. I can't wait for Sam Fuld in RF next season when we trade bradley for pennies on the dollar.

Who said Sam Fuld?

Fuld really is a very, very good outfielder. Say what you want about him but he can play. I'd rather see him in there than the hot garbage we've seen all year.

And whatever validity that guy had is now completely out the window.

It's not just RBI but you are obviously Milton's mom, so I'll let you praise this great RF we have. Have fun and when you see why we brought him here for and what we're getting, I'll respond.

Where does it say in there that he should be our RF, douche?
