And how many times did Alou have a ball going right into his glove in the central part of left field and he still didn't make the catch?

Somewhere between never and 0.

Wrong. You lose. Next contestant please.

Your game show is terrible and so are you.

plus Dusty opting to face Lowell instead of Lenny Harris in game one

To this day, that makes me want to strangle puppies.

same for me. that actually bothers me much more than the Bartman and/or Gonzalez plays. physical mistakes happen, but that was just a god-awful decision that was inexcusable. may not have changed the outcome of the game, but still horrible.

Because the dead horse hasn't been beaten quite enough, ESPN is producing an hour-long documentaryon Steve Bartman.

The revisiting of the Bartman incident and a look at its ugly legacy by Alex Gibney, writer-director of the Oscar-nominated "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room" and the Academy Award-winning "Taxi to the Dark Side," will be part of ESPN's "30 for 30" series.

According to ESPN, Gibney will attempt to answer the question: Can Bartman ever forgive Chicago?

I think the better question to answer would be: can Bartman forgive national media outlets that can't seem to let this go?

hope he gets some money out of this. he's been through enough.

I found out my boss hates Steve Bartman and blames him for the whole thing. Kind of awkward because I told him about this documentary and started to laugh about it and carry on into the obvious "screw you Alex Gonzalez" rant but he totally went the other direction with it. Geez.

I'm not trying to be mean or troll or anything. And I would say the same thing about any team.

But in response to the people blaming Bartmann or Gonzalez.

Championship teams overcome that.

A Championship team overcomes an error, or Bartmann's play.

Yes, a championship team by definition has overcome any error or bad play. That doesn't mean good teams don't get lose in the playoffs because of bad decisions or bad plays.
