Alright, one of our best fake rallies of all time ended what should have been a 6-game win streak, but it's time to head to St. Louis to face our free-falling rivals. They'll be without the ultimate pixie-dust success story, Ryan Ludwick, who's on the DL. Unfortunately, Chris Carpenter will be starting on Wednesday, but that's another matter for another day.

 

Tuesday, it'll be Oscar-winning southpaw Theodore Roosevelt Lilly...

Apparently Ankiel will be back on Wednesday, as will Carpenter. But still, yes. No reason to give Albert anything to hit. The rest of their lineup is crap right now.

OK, I've almost gotten over the fact that we should have won Sunday. I'll be all the way there by game time. For some reason I can deal with the Cards MUCH BETTER on weekdays rather than weekends. GO CUBS!

CUBS offense has been producing pretty well the last 2 weeks.........

Someone here at the office mentioned (have no idea of the source) but said that the "radio" mentioned that his teammates went to LaRussa because they were worried about him...he apparently "hurts himself physically" after going 0-4...if true, that's awful to hear. I feel for the guy.
