I don't like the Cavs but I thought LeBron was fouled on Howard's block in OT. Not by Howard but the guy who came to help got an awful lot of body on James (is it cool to call him by his last name and not his first name only).

I'm upset.

Remember that Jordan had to endure 6 years of playoff defeats before reaching the promised land. The Bulls had years where you thought they could get over the top and then the Pistons would beat them.

Also remember that this series is not over.

Yep, the nature of basketball in general makes it so 3-1 is a tough, almost impossible deficit to overcome but usually a 66 win team isn't in a 3-1 hole. This series isn't over at all.

Yeah, tonight was a really tough loss. I know the series isn't over, but I kept thinking how this is a must win, and it felt like a series loss. Obviously I'll watch and cheer for the Cavs, but I'm not sure I can seriously get back into the series until game 6 (if necessary[that sounds horrible :(])

As long as LeBron stays in Cleveland they'll have plenty of chances at a title and the odds are that they'll get one. I can see why one would be disappointed though.

If Orlando had home court, it would be done. But as it stands now, Cleveland only has to win once on the road, though they haven't won in Orlando yet this year in four tries. I think Cleveland wins Game 5 and it will come down to Game 6 in Orlando.

I think the series is done, personally. Cleveland should win Game 5, but I think Orlando wraps them up back in Orlando. There were two guys on OTL who talking about Cleveland's fans perception and chances, and one of the guys made an interesting comparasion....he said Cleveland Cavs fans (or sports fans in general) or much like Cubs fans. Titled starved and generally pessimistic about their teams chances at winning even with LBJ.

Orlando has exposed what everybody already knew about Cleveland, and that there are a one trick pony, with a very overrated supporting cast. To be fair, outside of a miracle shot by James (and I frakkin' refused to call him that ridiculous nickname) Cleveland is swept out of the conference finals.

Again, I think this series is over.

I still remember watching the Sportscenter clips of the Cavs trying trick shots in practice during their really really long layoff and thinking "this can't be good for business"

What nickname? Most people call him LeBron. That's his first name. Just like people say Kobe and not Bryant.

I'm pretty sure that was after practice.

The Magic are a tough matchup for the Cavs. They're a very good team that has more size than Cleveland in the middle and at the guard spots, and they're one of the few teams that defends better than the Cavs. Cleveland doesn't have much to be ashamed of so far in this series though. 3 of the 4 games have come right down to the wire, and they've been on the short end of 2 of 3. Hopefully they can bounce back and win convincingly in Cleveland, and maybe get that equalizer close game in Orlando.

Another way of saying this is that outside of a miracle shot by Lewis, this series is 2-2, going exactly as projected, and the Cavs are still in control.

What I am saying is that Cleveland is an grossly overrated team that is only good because of one player. This series has shown, IMO, Orlando is the better team and when the series is over and the Cavs are at home licking their wounds, people will realize how overrated this Cavs truly was.

A grossly overrated team doesn't win 66 games and 39 at home. They've been neck and neck in every game. You're acting like they're losing games by 20 points and being exposed or something.

NBA is crapping their pants right now, nobody wants Orlando and Denver in the finals. It is like saying the Marlin and the Mariners in the WS or SF and Baltimore. They are really trying to hype Howard because they know once James and Kobe are out of it no novice NBA watcher knows anybody else and they will go back to doing what you are suppose to do in June and watch MLB or cut the grass

The NBA definitely prefers LeBron-Kobe, but it isn't crapping pants time. They have the TV contract on lock down until 2018 and if Howard and/or Melo make it, then they have another marketable superstar to put in the Kobe/LeBron/Wade camp. They'll be fine.

ESPN/ABC is crapping their pants.

I actually think that a Denver vs Magic (Or only one of those teams making it even) would be good for the NBA. It would actually give some unpredictability to the league that doesn't have much of it.

Yeah, since KG went down no one bothered trying to predict anything besides Cavs/Lakers, and for that to not happen would help the perception of the league, I think.

Good for the league, bad for the networks. ABC/ESPN is banking on the viewership of Kobe/LeBron

66-16. They're facing a team that they have a tough time matching up against. Get over it. They had the same LeBron James last year. He's better this year, but he's played fewer minutes, scored fewer points, and grabbed fewer rebounds than last year. And yet somehow they have managed to win 21 more games.

LeBron's supporting cast is fine. Everyone was ready to crown them NBA champs after their regular season and first 2 series sweeps. They ran into a team that is playing slightly better than them. It's that simple. 4 games don't justify some stupid thought that you've held all year despite being proven wrong game by game until this series.

What are you talking about? If it weren't for his trick shots, the series would already be over. That should be all they do at practice.

I just don't think you make it to the conference finals without having a good team. One player, no matter how good he is, can't get you there by himself.

You're not helping your cause, Dwight.

Speaking of fighting, how about those tackles that Varejao put on me a couple of times during the game??? And I’m the one who gets the technical foul!!!! I was just playing with emotion. You get in the game and you score a big bucket, you let your emotions take over. I wasn’t taunting Varejao or anything. My thing was, it was a tough play, he grabbed me around the neck and I made the shot, so hopefully they will look at it.

And on that final lob play, he rode me out of bounds, but there was nothing called. I just feel like if that had been a certain guy on the other team, the whistle would have been blowing.

This thing with the T’s is bugging me pretty bad right no w, but I can’t let it take me away from my focus on helping us get the job done. I can’t believe that I’ve had six of them called on me so far, and some of them have just been crazy. I’m not a dirty player, I don’t talk a lot of trash and I don’t curse the officials, so I can’t figure out why I keep getting them again and again.

Hopefully, the league office will look at this one and realize it was just the heat of the game. There was no taunting. I’ve already had to miss one game because of my elbows, and I made a promise to myself that I’d never have that happen again with my elbows. The thought of me having to miss another game is killing me, so I’ve got to keep my mouth shut and my elbows down.

I agree with what he posted, but I think he needs to realize keeping his mouth shut includes keeping his blog quiet.

I think you don't understand the word "overrated."
