I definitely don't think the 90's Bulls teams would've swept a Celtics squad with a healthy KG. Some of those Bulls teams lost a couple of games to the Knicks in the semifinals and I think we lost a game to the Heat as well one of those years. Boston probably would win two games in a best-of-seven.

Gordon's hamstring is fine.

Have the results of the MRI been announced?

Hamstring strain, day-to-day, likely to play game 5. Might not even need to be carried onto the floor by his teammates or get up from a wheelchair.

Gordon wouldn't have been able to play with sore feet. Or multiple stab wounds.

=D> well played.

Can we stop talking about the 90's Bulls? It makes me sad that one of my favorite teams will never touch that again and I wasn't old enough to really appreciate it.

The sad thing about this whole playoff series is that the Bulls are going to have to pay Ben Gordon a max contract to get him to stay (which I don't think is going to happen).

Doubt it. Even after this series, I can't see any team with cap space offering him more than $10m/year. And there are only like 3 teams with cap space out there.

In other games Denver is currently leading NO 113-57 in the 4th  .

Which makes me wonder what the worst ever playoff loss?

Largest Margins of Victory, Playoff Game

By The Associated Press

A list of the largest margins of victory in NBA playoff history:

58 — Denver 121, at New Orleans 63, April 27, 2009

58 — Minneapolis 133, vs. St. Louis 75, March 19, 1956

56 — L.A. Lakers 126, at Golden State 70, April 21, 1973

50 — Milwaukee 136, vs. San Francisco 86, April 4, 1971

It also tied the fourth worst scoring output in an NBA playoff game in the shot clock era (54-55 season). I'm pretty sure Bulls fans would know which team scored the fewest points ever in a playoff game.

The 95-96 Bulls beat the Shaq and Penny Magic by ~40 points in one of their playoff games. I was there. It was awesome.

I have the scoreboards for the three major sports up on Yahoo at work and throughout the fourth quarter of the Nuggets-Hornets game, they had it listed as a final already. But the first time I saw it, the Hornets only had 53 points and I thought they had broken the record but then I realized that the score said it was only 6-3 (or something like that) in the fourth and knew that couldn't have been the final.

Yeah I can only quote this in agreement. Its a shame I sort of missed the glory years. I remember watching "the shot" in real time though, that was awesome. :)

At least the Bulls are giving us one helluva entertaining series, the last game was one of the best basketball games I've ever watched.

No way LOL. The Bulls could get Gordon for cheaper than he was asking for last year with the way the economy is. Cheapsdorf needs to go into the luxury tax or the Bulls need to find a suitor for Luol Deng.

Does anyone know if the See Red T-shirts are only sold at the United Center? I know I can get one of the Bulls website but I don't really want to wait a week to receive it.

The most unfortunate aspect of this Series is that with a better coach and defense the Bulls would have had a very good chance to win it. Of course, with a better coach and defense the Bulls quite probably would have finished higher than 7th.

The thing about this Hornets thing is that it just reinforces the fact that it's nearly impossible to dominate the NBA as a point guard. We can't do what Cleveland or Orlando can do and just put bodies around our star. We're still going to need a gm that knows how to build a contender.

Ben Gordon did not participate in the shootaround this morning and described his hammy as "not good". He implied that he might not be able to play tonight.

Here's to Rose' presence helping to sign, if they're still available, Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire in 2010. Team one of those with Rose and I think you've got something good.

Ugh, although Ive got confidence in BG trying to play. They guy took a shot at half just to be able to finish the last game, so if there is any way he can play he will.

Yeah I still think he'll play too, but this sucks. I was actually pretty confident that we could win there tonight. Hopefully this is a little bit of a posturing job, but I don't think that'd be something BG would do.
