Parks will have Twins as top system in baseball. Just mentioned it on Twitter.

Really hard to argue with that, he did say they also had more depth than the Cubs. Which is something I disagree with, our system is incredibly deep.

Who else do they have besides Buxton, Sano, and Meyer? I never really hear about anyone else.

Kohl Stewart is a top 50 guy. 4th pick in the draft this year. Parks loves upside, so he likely has a crush on Lewis Thorpe, a very young Australian lefty. Berrios is a solid pitching prospect. I guess he's high on Edwin Rosario? I don't see them as being all that deep myself. Maybe I'm forgetting someone, but I think I listed anyone with a shot at being a top 100 type.

I think the Cubs will likely have more top 100 guys this season, but the Twins have depth. Beyond the players you mentioned, they have guys like Ryan Eades, Travis Harrison, Stephen Gonsalves and Felix Jorge. They also have Stuart Turner at catcher who would easily be the Cubs best catching prospect. Those are 5 guys I had my eye on wanting the Cubs to draft/sign.

Yeah im a homer, but I still like our top 10 better

Personally, I honestly think I 'd take our top 4 over theirs. Yeah, I 'd take Buxton and Sano over Javy and KB, but I think there's a bigger difference between Almora/Soler to Meyer/Stewart than there is to the first two pairs.

And I definitely prefer the rest of our top 10 to theirs.

Man the top 2 vs 2 is really close for me. Id probably rank them Buxton, Baez, Sano, Bryant. But if I knew the Cubs duo would be league average at SS and 3B respectively, I'd take the Cubs duo. As is, its pretty close forme.

I'm not so sure I'd take Buxton/Sano . . . Sano and Javy seem roughly comparable but the Cubs are more advanced and may have less risk. Buxton clearly has the highest upside but he hasn't tried AA yet.

I think I might take Buxton over Baez and Bryant even without throwing Sano into it.

Good God, what kind of numbers do you think he's going to put up?

Something between "Trout light" and "Actual Trout"

What is "trout lite" in your scenario.

I'd take Buxton over either of Javy or Bryant but I'd take both Javy and Bryant over Sano

Buxton/Sano or Almora/Bryant?

You have to choose a pair.

Somebody who kinda only relies on his speed

Buxton/Sano. Without a second thought against both pairs.

Wait, why add a prospect who isn't as good (Almora) in there when everyone would take Buxton/Sano over Baez/Bryant?

I'm not sure everyone takes Buxton/Sano over Baez/Bryant. I would take the former on potential but the latter are more advanced.
