Well I'll go on record of starting this thread now...

Bradley is going to have a monster season with the Cubs and WILL help us in the post-season.

Oh hey... another HR from him right now.

Bash me if you want, I'll just enjoy it better when he succeeds :-D

Crazy dudes always seem to be pretty good hitters.

i saw bradley leave hohokam during spring training wearing a 2008 mlb all-star game t-shirt which made me think a lot less of him.

also, some kid asked for his autograph and he said "my wife just had a baby two days ago, can i go home please?" in a real [expletive] way. kid should have thrown a water bottle at him.

but yeah, the dude can hit.

Last time I was at ST, Corey Patterson was as kind and accomodating as I think any fan could expect from a ballplayer. It was nice, but....

....I'll still take the guy who can actually hit.

Yeah, you really run the risk of people bashing you for predicting big things for one of the best players on the team.

He's getting bashed, just not the bashing that he thought he'd get :P

Yeah, I can see the second thing, but what's wrong with the guy wearing an all-star shirt?

because it's weird for a guy who was in the all-star game to wear an all-star game shirt that he probably got for free. it just is. it's like wearing your gus macker shirt to school on monday after you played in the gus macker over the weekend. except 1,000 times more weird.

is it really that weird? i wear whatever random t-shirts i have to the gym... shirts that i'd never wear anywhere else (like my pokerstars t-shirt)

what they're doing out there basically amounts to going to the gym and working out...

no, he was in street clothes. if he was going from the ballpark to a restaurant later that day, that's what he would have worn.

It's not weird when you consider Bradley's past behavior and recent comments. I think he needs the attention and one way to get that is to wear an All-star shirt around a bunch of baseball fans.

It seems to me that he constantly behaves in a way to get people to "respect" him and his accomplishments.

He's all about respect.

I don't really care if he never signs an autograph so long as he's healthy and producing.

I do appreciate Milton Bradley.

I appreciate Battlestar, Monopoly, Yahtzee, Scrabble, and I really appreciate Trivial Pursuit.

Sorry, someone HAD to make the Milton Bradley joke, and I do like those games.

With that said, I hope Bradley stays healthy and puts up a line he did last yr with Texas.
