Holy crap, another top 10 pick returning: Taylor Mays is returning for his senior season. He won't even be the top safety next year with Eric Berry around.

Wow did not see that coming....Looks like the Bears won't have to look into drafting a safety in the first round

As TT alluded to, William Moore. He was always more likely to be around when the Bears pick than Mays.

they're all terrified of getting picked #1

Ball State QB Nate Davis enters the draft. 2nd or 3rd round pick probably, could move up if the other big names stay.

The big question now for USC is the future of quarterback Mark Sanchez. He is expected to return for his senior season, but that decision could be altered if Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford announces he is turning pro before Thursday's deadline. NFL analysts project Sanchez could be the No. 2 quarterback taken in the draft behind Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford if Bradford stays in college.

They really project Sanchez over Bradford? I haven't seen much about it him in the mock drafts I've seen, but what are the odds he goes pro?

I haven't seen anybody project Sanchez over Bradford.

If anything, most mocks have Bradford going before Stafford and Sanchez not even in the top 10.

Most say Stafford in the top 10, Bradford somewhere in the middle of the first and then like I said I haven't heard much about Sanchez

Careful before you pounce. Re-read the post.

"NFL analysts project Sanchez could be the No. 2 quarterback taken in the draft behind Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford if Bradford stays in college."

Implication is that Sanchez would be #3 if Bradford comes out.

I've seen more with Bradford top 2-3 (usually Lions), Stafford fringy top 10 and Sanchez all over the first round.

Reading can be helpful.

I should do it more.

I like Moore, but I fear another Safety with injury concerns

I don't care what others say, I would take Sanchez ahead of Bradford. And once the combine comes and goes, Sanchez should measure up better than Bradford and I think a lot of teams will come to my way of thinking.

Of course the point is moot, if Taylor Mays is coming back, I can't see how Mark Sanchez wouldn't.

I can agree with you on both points...Once they are both at the combine people will be talking up Sanchez more than Bradford....Mays not going pro though might give him a reason to stay

I said that because Mark Sanchez already seemed to be on the fence on whether or not to turn pro with the whole offense returning but 90% of the defense leaving. When one of the stalwarts of the defense comes back, it makes it more likely he'll want to try to return for a national championship bid (err, beat some hapless Big Ten team in Pasadena).

He's worth the risk. He's a freak.

I would say 1st-3rd. It all depends on Combine and Pro Day. He is the type that can shoot up boards because he has all the things that look great at the Combine. It really all comes down to his Wonderlic and interviews. He doesn't come off bright (at least with the media) as you are well aware of. If he comes off that same way with the teams and has a average to bad Wonderlic he will fall to the third round. If he does well on both those he could jump up to the first round. I would say unless he just bombs everything or kicks butt at everything he's a lock for 2nd round. I would say right around the 10th pick or so :beg: .

Man, Sanchez was my sleeper QB about midseason. I thought he might even go as late as the 3rd. Now, I guess the mid-to-late rounder I like is Hunter Cantwell. He has the size and the arm and was once highly thought of. Unfortunately for the Bears he probably needs a lot of coaching.

I've been hearing from a few people in Florida. Evidently Tim Tebow made a deal with Urban that they'll run more of a pro-style offense next year to allow Tim to showcase his talents, and he agreed to return.

A guy who is close to Meyer's family said that he is hoping Weis is out after this year, and he'll follow Tebow out of Gainesville.
