Between Georgia and LSU, it's turning out that the SEC is no more dominant than any other conference. Two teams at the top, and a lot of MEH in the middle

Agreed. There's plenty of mediocrity in the conference this year. Personally, I think Alabama should fall into that MEH category with the rest of us. They are definitely not as impressive as their record suggests. IMO, Florida is the only standout team.

Florida's defense has taken over this game with their backs to the wall. The first possession for the 'Noles started inside the 25 yard line. They gained 4 yards and kicked a field goal. Their fourth possession started inside the 15 yard line. They lost four yards and then kicked a field goal. 14-6 Gators.

You can really say that for every conference. The Big XII has Oklahoma and Texas. The Pac 10 has USC. The Big Ten has Penn State and maybe and I stretch maybe on Ohio State. The SEC has Florida and perhaps Alabama. The ACC and Big East really do not.

Tebows playing this game like the Ole Miss game last year where he had 27 carries. He's got 9 rushes for 67 yards. That's his second highest this season.

Now Tebows just showing off his arm strength.

I love that inside option shovel pass.

Harvins ankle's hurting him again. Damn. Parkers also out with his ankle. Stupid weather.

True, and the Big XII is turning into that: Baylor's still up on not-so-good-and-still-overranked-texas-tech.

If Baylor loses by 1 point I am going to be pissed.

Crabtree had to be carted to the locker room.

We all know Tebow is great but there's really no reason to pretend he's anyting more than average as a passer.

Slow delivery, average accuracy, and his arm is good but not off the charts. He's a middle of hte road prospect as an NFL QB.

He's more than an average passer. He has solid above average arm strength, but you're really shorting him with the accuracy. He has excellent accuracy in the short to middle passing game. He has good accuracy on the deep ball as well. He has enough arm strength to make all the out throws. He's not the best pure passer in the country for the NFL (Stafford), but he's one of the top four or five easily. Couple that with his makeup, running skills and everything else and he's going to be a top two round pick, and for good reason. His delivery isn't ideal, but it's something he can work on. You're really selling him short on the accuracy though.

That being said, he's not the best pure passing prospect on his team, but he's the best quarterback prospect. The position is changing and its changing in the NFL slowly and surely.

Tebow most certainly does not grade out as having excellent accuracy. That's utterly ridiculous. I'll give you above average arm strength--still a slow delivery. He is not a great pure passing prospect. That would mean if here not mobile/prototypically sized he'd be one of the top prospects. That's obvoiusly not true.

NC State beat Miami to become bowl eligible today. That probably reduces the chances of a BSU vs. BSU matchup in the Humanitarian Bowl (even if BSU-Indiana were willing to travel to BSU-Idaho), since the Humanitarian Bowl is supposed to get ACC #8 and there are 10 ACC teams eligible.

His does have excellent accuracy. He's as accurate as any QB in the country, no question. I didn't say he was a great pure passing prospect. How many are great? Just one or two a year tops. The only one in this class is Matt Stafford. Chase Daniels' accuracy and arm strength isn't any better than Tebow's. You can probably put Bradford ahead of Tebow on pure passing and Bomar. Graham Harrell is a no. Colt McCoy has far below average arm strength.

I will say that in the SEC that Snead and Brantley will probably develop into better pure passing NFL prospects.

tebow throws the ugliest ball i have ever seen. he hasn't thrown a spiral in his whole life.

dude, he does that on purpose. his recievers are trained to catch non-spirals, and the defense is not.

Touchdown Bears + Two point conversion! 21-14 Baylor at the half. Robert Griffin has single handedly made Baylor a half decent team, which is a huge step up from where they were. Edited by shnsajax

I don't really know what to say. Saying Tebow has excellent accuracy goes against any form of common sense or video evidence. Are we watching the same quarterback?

Tebow will not grade out high in accuracy by any NFL scout.
