I'll say one thing, The Brewers are picking the right time to heat up, and if they do end up with that Wild Card, they'll be a tough team in October.

Woohoo, they've won two in a row. That's sure heating up.

When they get hot, they're hot, and they're going to Cincy and facing Ramon Ramirez, Johnny Cueto, and then its CC Sabathia vs. Arroyo, and then they go home to play the Pirates.

How does that make them tough in October?

Its how they operate. They get really, really hot, and you think they're unbeatable. The, all of the sudden, they collapse on themselves. When you think they're dead and gone, they get right back up and go on another streak. Repeat process.

Jeez, everyone is so angry.

I think we have every right to be, considering how our offense and pen have been lately

then be angry, but please remain logical

If we play like this in the playoffs we will be swept in the first round again. If you can be beat by Dave Bush and the Brewers bulpen its not likely you have much of a chance against most playoff teams.

you must have missed his "Harden is a bust" post

OK, so they get hot the next 2 weeks and then collapse in the playoffs when they face good pitching once again.

If people had their way, we'd have like 8 guys on our playoff roster.

I can't think of 8 guys worthy of making this roster.

Soriano - Stikes out too much on pitches in the dirt

Theriot - Hitting .250 since July

Lee - GIDP Machine

Ramirez - prone to 0-25 slumps

Soto - made Samardjiza give up 4 straight singles in the 6th inning

DeRosa - boots DP grounders

Fukudome - hit like .100 since the break

Fontenot - too small

Blanco - too many tatoos

Edmonds - an [expletive]

Reed Johnson - will probably kill himself trying to make a play; a lawsuit waiting to happen

Cedeno - No baseball IQ

And that's just the hitters

maybe we should do our best to get in as the wild card to avoid home field disadvantage. Wrigley has not been kind to us lately.

As I said before, 32-8 our first 40 home games, 20-18 since.
