Durham singles through the hole into right field, Lamb scores.

Man on 1st & 3rd, 2 outs.

3-2 Brewers leading.

How the hell can't the Cubs ever do anything with 2 outs?

Tie game. What in the hell is wrong with Jeff? Also DeRosa's fault big time

He got four grounders, one booted, one through the infield. What more is he supposed to do?

I agree and no point at all Brenly blameing Shark for not throwing first pitch strikes should of been done and out the inning.

Good thing Lou left Harden in for 115 pitches so he could go five innings and have a chance to get a win.

Don't they have the best avg with RISP and 2 outs in baseball?

I forgot this game was an afternoon game, so I just saw the box score, and have 2 questions:

1) Why did Harden throw 115 pitches?

2) How did he manage to throw 115 and only have 1 run and 1 hit allowed?

EDIT: ok, number 2 answered....6 bb's....:(

I always wonder how people can boo a pitcher for giving up ground ball singles. A ground ball right to a fielder and the guy is a hero, a ground ball 10 feet to either side and he's a bum.

The same could be said for a lot of fly balls.

1) Because it's a rule that starters must pitch 5 innings to get a win.

2) Because of a combination of a tight zone and lack of command.
