That's so lame that Thabeet can leave the game and let a guard shoot his free throws then come in a possession later.

That rule must be changed. The opposing coach should be able to pick the FT shooter if the other guy gets 'hurt'. Of course, I don't buy for a second that he actually was.

 

I hate that whole team...what a bunch of ninnies. Jeff Adrien is damn good, though.

oh no we're getting smoked by a very good kansas team at the phog what a big surprise. i wonder if illinois would score 20 at kansas.

Sensitive much? I'm sure UI would score at least 35-40. But KU sure wouldn't get much more than 50-60.

 

I fail to understand why people who are fans of other conferences don't realize that scores are low in the B10 because teams play defense, and not because players are inept at putting the ball in the basket.

Scores are low in the B10 overall because every team plays at a slow, half-court pace.

 

Scores can be especially low in the B10 because some of the teams are really good defensively. In terms of defensive efficiency, 10 of the 11 BT teams are in the top 100 nationally, 4 of which are in the top 25 (Illinois, Purdue, MSU, Minnesota). The top two defensive teams in the country are actually Memphis and Louisville.

i think gus johnson croaked after that last michigan basket.

 

I love watching the guy call games in which I have no interest. He makes those games so much more exciting and dramatic.

 

When he's calling games in which I have a rooting interest...he makes those games painfully dramatic, haha.
