I just think its ridiculous to post something like that when within the past 24 hours there have been plenty of posts about how great it was for Pujols to get hurt.

This kind of argument sounds familiar...hmmmm...

Wow what a douche. Not only was that a horrible, horrible call. But the ump grabbed his balls right as Derrek looked at him.

Hah, I saw that too. What does that mean?

Possible good news for the Sox....Soriano just got hit in the hand, hopefully it's broke or effects him for the next few weeks when we play them 6 times

k thnx idiot

Give me a break.

People were jumping with joy around here when the Pujols news broke.

That's an exaggeration at best. I think the most excited reactions came from those that don't want Cardinals' fans to have an excuse that they didn't win the division, which is hardly jumping for joy.

Well, that guy's on my ignore list, so I don't like him either, nor do I think his post was called for - I was just saying most of us weren't really all that happy to hear about Pujols going down.

It means his balls were itchy so he couldn't make a good call.

Please find these quotes. I don't remember anything similar to "hopefully its broken".

Call me insensitive but I don't see why it's such a big deal. As long as it's not career threatening, why do you have to hope that a great player on a competing team isn't injured?

Pujols is making a ton of money and will be able to resume his career fully so if it helps the Cubs chances, I hope he's out for a while.

Braden Looper's line tonight:

9 IP 3 H 0 ER 0 BB 4 K 98 P

I'll put that one on the Reds more than Looper though. They made his life pretty easy.

Eff you, Greg Norton.

Dusty Baker ladies and gentlemen!

Thank you, thank you, he'll be there for another two and a half years!

I don't like this development of opposing left fielders making amazing plays when they are in our stadium

Pierre made like 23 of those plays when they were last here

Not considered very good sportsmanship. Plus, how would you feel if you broke a bone and heard someone on the opposing bench say, "good! hope he's out for awhile!"

I'm not saying people were saying that about Pujols in the other forum though, because I really didn't read that thread much so I don't know.

I think Brenly wins for the best curtain call ever.

What's the story?

He was talking about in the minors that while playing on the road the opposing team would pick a beer batter. If that batter struck out than beer would be half price. Brenly k'd and the crowd gave him a curtain call.
