Yep. With second and third, you are worried about power, you are worried about getting the out. And Soriano is the easiest out in the lineup.

at least in 1995 you knew that a foot off the outside corner was going to be a strike. with this guy it seems to be 10 inches outside and 10 inches low are strikes. and it sets up the AB against theriot because he has to swing at bad pitches since the ump is calling them strikes.
