I'm halfway through reading Living on the Black by John Feinstein. The book follows Tom Glavine and Mike Mussina throughout the 2007 season. It is interesting to see how Glavine looks at things. He knows he needs certain pitches called to be effective. He also is now more willing to come inside. When he got to the Mets, Rick Petersen told him that he cant live low and away 100% of the time, come inside to keep people honest. It is interesting to read about how he approaches certain game situations.

He does comment in the book that Aramis Ramirez owns him, so hopefully that continues.

I admit, the end of 04 was a bit frustrating. My mom had always been a cubs fan, and I casually watched the 03 NLCS (it's a good thing I wasn't really a fan then; I'd be devastated). So I wasn't really too hardcore in 04. But now, I really get into the games, and it's been a great year so far.

Looks like Teixera is the only one of there guys whose had much of a look at Lilly, and he hasnt faired out so well.

On the other hand, Alfunso, Adolpho or whatever you want to call him and Aramis have owned Glavine.
