What team do you think at this juncture?

The Rays look impressive but the Angels look like a very well put together team, and their road record is something else.

Rays will fade (started already) I still say it will be Boston. Manny hasn't been great this year and Big Papi has been woeful. He will likely be better when he gets back from DL and they will play even better.

I have to go with the Angels. They're playing better all around, while the BoSox are unbeatable at home, but not performing on the road. With the way the BoSox are banged up right now, I don't see them being healthier as the year drags on, I see them more beat up. I think the Angels will win home field, and take Boston in 7.

this is very tough...the experience of boston says to go with them...the angels will be there though...

the white sox??!?!?

actually i have no clue

I think the White Sox are legit...their rotation is starting to throw like the 2005 White Sox, and other than Contreras they aren't Cardinal like flukes. Floyd is pitching a little over his head, but had the potential, Danks was one of, if not the top pitching prospect in baseball 2 years ago.

The WSox offense seems streaky. If they're hitting come October, they're easily as good of a bet to make it as anyone else. That is, assuming the Tigers or Indians don't start performing to expectations and keep them out of the playoffs altogether, which is looking less and less likely now.

Pythag wise the Angels aren't even the best in their division, they don't impress me that much. Well I guess no one in that league is looking that great this year anyway...

Yeah I'll take Boston, wouldn't be surprised if its one of like 6 teams though

Really just the Red Sox and Angels have a realistic shot to me. The White Sox could pull a surprise, but I don't see them being able to shutdown Boston or outhit them in a 5-7 game series. After the Rockies run last year though, I wouldn't count out the Rays, but they would be a longshot at this point.

Tigers and Yankees (probably need some help in trades) are probably the 2 most likely teams down in the standings to make a run. Damn Seattle.

I'd have to say the Angels or the Red Sox, although I'd be great to see the Rays make it if they could keep up the great year.

Yeah i dont really like the Angels OBP, dont like the A's OBP that much either.

Ill have to go with Boston because of their balance of front line pitching and offense.

Im this close to putting the nail in the Tigers coffin.

I don't know why everyone loves Gavin Floyd, up until 1 start ago he had more walks than strikeouts and a ridiculous BABIP.

It's funny how people said the White Sox had no business trading for Swisher because they were required by law to go for a full scale rebuild have done a 180 now. Swisher hasn't done well but they've shown that no, they weren't required by law to rebuild, Fautino De Los Santos and Gio Gonzalez are up to nothing, so forth.

Go look up the Nick Swisher trade topic, that's all it is: "They can't do that! They have to be rebuilding!"

No, most people were saying it was a really good deal.

Whichever teams make it to October will each have around a 25% chance.

Even in a Cubs vs WSox world series, I still couldn't give either team better than a 25% chance.
