Worst Cubs team ever. :stickman:

That's right. Keep joking about it. When the Cards & Stros pass us up and we're dipping closer to .500 we'll revisit and see how you feel then.

This would be a sucky loss, but I'm not worried about dipping much closer to .500 than we are now.

did gallagher give up all the runs with 2 outs?

also why does it seem like every time we lose its when we give up a 2 or more run lead? seriously

I'm not sure how to feel about the whole Gallagher situation. To me, it seems like something in the middle of the situations with Pie and Theriot. On one end (the Pie end), you have this kid who is clearly very talented, especially for his age, and is going to need some time to adjust to the majors. But unlike Pie, I think we can all agree that there are better options right now for the current team that aren't playing, which is more of a Theriot/Cedeno type situation. Best case scenario he figures it out quickly and becomes the best option this year. If that doesn't happen, it will be interesting to see how the Cubs deal with it with Marshall/Hill/Hart down in AAA.

Tejada's rbi single was with no outs. The homer was with 1 out. I'm not sure about the 5th run.

Sometimes you lose a series on the road. It's going to happen, and it's not a harbinger of doom like you're making out to be.

1962 Mets > 2008 Cubs

I'm not all that worried about falling behind Houston. St Louis will hang around because they are bastids.

Well, losing to the Astros twice in a row and a day before an off day makes it hurt more.
