That's right. Keep joking about it. When the Cards & Stros pass us up and we're dipping closer to .500 we'll revisit and see how you feel then.

 

Sometimes you lose a series on the road. It's going to happen, and it's not a harbinger of doom like you're making out to be.

 

True. But losing to Houston makes my skin crawl. I've hated them ever since they traded for Randy Johnson in 1998.

I think last night was the beginning of a 42 game losing streak. Get ready for it.

I know. It could be a 43 game losing streak, but we'll snap out of the funk before it gets that bad.

Haha, Bob goes off on the whole 'each ump has their own strike zone' thing at least once a week and it's always entertaining.

God, just win. I don't want two straight losses to Houston, followed by a definite loss tomorrow against Indiana Jones.

 

At least we're not facing Jack Bauer.

 

Jack Bauer doesn't need a bat. The baseballs would throw themselves over the fence just to get away from him.
