It does not look good weatherwise today..... but seeing as though the Dbacks do not return to Wrigley this year, they'll wait as long as they have to. Things will improve later in the afternoon, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

i think the rain starts tapering off in the early afternoon, and nothing by late afternoon is heavy or even moderate rain, maybe just spitting a little bit. that being said, there might be an inch of rainfall between now and then. the start will likely be delayed, and i think what it'll come down to is whether or not the outfield is too wet.

What's the most reliable way to get official weather updates from the Cubs? I have tickets, but can't spend all morning listening to the radio. Do they post updates on their web site anywhere? I can't seem to find any.

On WSCR they said they will try to get this game in starting around 2:30. If not then we will play a day-night doubleheader tomorrow. The day game would be against Arizona and the night game would be against San Diego.
