My hatred for Mark DeRosa is really getting out of control. Hes a journeyman utility man, yet we keep him in our every day lineup.

Didn't like his .371 OBP last year? Yeah he sucks!

He slumped early last season also and put up above average numbers. Keep hatin' though.

Revisionist history. DeRosa is a perfectly capable starter and above average. He was absolutely destroying the ball before this 1 for 17 stretch. He probably could use a day off every now and then, though.

DeRosa looks like he could use a day off. Too bad the Cubs don't have anyone else that can play that position.

Other than that Cedeno punk who's only hitting .380 ish, no.

Middle infielders from LSU are laaaaaame.

Do I really have to put every last ounce of sarcasm in green font?

Thom says Wood was within hours of retiring last year. Ok.

He really said that? What a idiot.

Well, it is a game thread where everybody tends to be overly emotional, so maybe. I wasn't sure if you were serious or not. Lay it on a little thicker, man.

"No one talks about when Wood was throwing 120-130 pitches in a game at 20 years old"

BECAUSE HE DIDN'T

Not to mention that his namesake is basically a less versatile journeyman utility man with less hitting ability.
