Now we get the good Wood!

 

We've had the good Wood all year. His peripheral stats are fantastic. He's allowed 10 baserunners in 14 innings, and has a 4.1 K/BB ratio. It's just that 8 of the 10 baserunners have scored. More of a luck issue than anything else at this point.

Actually, it could be more like minutes instead of hours. According to VineLine, Wood was ready to pick up the phone and tell Hendry it was over. Something happened and he threw one last time and surprisingly had no pain.

 

I've since thrown away the issue of VineLine, so please don't blast me, my family, and my dog because my memory may be failing.
