What happened?

 

Ground ball in the hole, ss sort of falls as he fields it and tries to make a throw from his butt to second. It gets away from the second baseman, and GRITIOT makes the cardinal mistake of risking the first out at third base. He's thrown out. Lee advances to second on that throw, and when they throw to second that ball gets away, but Lee smartly stays put.

Petition to make Gridiot his name.

counsell makes a diving play and throws a really stupid, pathetic throw to second that goes into shallow right. theriot goes for third and is thrown out. Lee goes to second and is barely safe, but the ball gets away from whoever was covering at that point into RF, Lee decides not to pull a theriot

 

it didn't even make it to the outfield grass. fielder backed up the play where the 2nd baseman is usually positioned. stupid play by theriot.
