I didn't really want a QB this early. Didn't really want a RB this early, but Forte is better than Ray Rice. Again, I would have gone with Sweed or Harrison.

Cedric Benson

Adrian Peterson

Garrett Wolfe

Matt Forte

Who is gone?

I hope Benson gets cut. Hub Arkush said that he will never be able to repeat the mediocrity that he showcased the past few seasons because he won't be able to plant his leg like he used to.

If the Bears wanted a back there, Jamaal Charles would have been a better choice.

I think Charles will be a steal for someone.

I think CB has soured them

Forte is a good all around back. he compares to Mendenhall, blocks, catches the pass, can run inside, has good speed. he wasnt the glitzy pick, and maybe not even a good #2, but he will produce.

Angelo almost always reaches with that 2nd round pick. I should expect it by now, but it's always shocking. It's like......HUH?!?.....every year.

Not saying this Forte kid will automatically be bad, mind you.

we picked a defensive fatty... andy reid LOVES picking fatties. can't say it's a bad thing, i like building around the lines, but reid loves picking lineman more than anyone i've seen.

time to build the hype....I guess

reminds me abit of Robert Smith from the vikings

That's exactly who he reminds me of too. Maybe a little slower, but similar running style and slightly tougher.

Eagles look like they're taking Jackson.

Pretty solid day for Philadelphia.

Laws, DeSean, raped Carolina for an '09 1st-rounder...yeah, decent day.

I dont remember how fast Smith was, but Forte ran a 4.46 at the combine..and the way he snakes through holes and uses his vision is a mirror of Smith
