It's as if the Titans GM just picked a random name on the draft sheet after Mendenhall went one pick earlier. Kind of like that assassin in The Jerk.

 

Titans GM: *closes eyes and puts finger on paper* "Chris Johnson, sounds like your typical everyday NFL running back. That's the pick!"

 

No, I suspect they had Johnson targeted from day one. He's fast and he's incredibly redundant...that's exactly what Reinfeldt likes apparently.

And what he likes is stupid. Apparantly a glaring need isn't glaring at all in the eyes of the front office.
