Jesus Christ!

Let's just give them the lead. First DeRosa letting the bastard get on base and then Soriano playing leftfield worse than the fat kid on my nephew's little league team.

Two gift runs there.

Can WGN employe a dump button for Ronnie? When something bad happens, you know about it when Ronnie whines before Pat even calls the play.

Soriano has been absolutely brutal to start the season. He hasn't done anything on offense and his defense has looked terrible.

yeah maybe that is the favored cub way of losing this year. spend all game behind, get a big hit to tie it up, then immediately cough up the lead the next inning. that'll be two of our three losses after today.

that had better be two unearned runs.

It should be considering:

a) the sac fly should have been the 3rd out

b) Tejada shouldn't have been at 3rd anyway if Soriano didn't pull a Braun in LF

Someone want to explain what happened?

DeRosa allowed a runner to reach by boo-booing a routine grounder. Then Tejada lined one down the left field line that Soriano let roll all the way to the wall scoring one run and giving Tejeda a triple. Then Tejeda scored on a sac fly. Neither of those should have scored if the Cubs didn't play defense like a t-ball team.

Sweet Alfonso....

Matt Murton+real short stop > Alfonso Soriano

maybe

no

Eh, I know. Let me rephrase it.

Matt Murton+Great shortstop > Alfonso Soriano at his outrageous price tag

Fonzo's money could have gone to getting a better SS and a good starting pitcher.

wow, this is my first time using the new gameday and I just got an alert that there was a video update and I was able to watch Geo's 2 rbi single. That's pretty neat.

Awesome. It's probably a good thing I'm not watching this game.

LOL

News: The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that Mark Prior ended his throwing session Tuesday halfway into it after experiencing tightness in his surgically repaired shoulder. He was told by doctors that such tightness wouldn't be unusual. "This isn't a setback," said pitching coach Darren Balsley.
