Well, Soriano can't look any worse at second than he did in left last inning.

Lou should barter with him you can bat leadoff if you play 2B. Then we could put DeRo at SS and call up Murton.

Pining for Matt Murton is so 2005. It's all about giving Ronny Cedeno a chance to shine. Again.

Yeah it would be horrible to have a slew of hitters who actually worked the count in the lineup. Those guys never produce.

yeah the pronunciation is even more annoying. if you have a name like towles, pronounce it like the thing that you lay on at the beach, or dry yourself off with. it doesn't piss me off quite as much as the way that matt diaz pronounces his last name, though.

Ramirez out of the game, hope he's okay.

 

He just made the last out in the 8th, so he's the last batter due up, if the Cubs got to his spot they probably would have won by then, he's fine.

 

Or we'd be locked in an extra inning battle without Aramis' bat. =\

Cedeno may or may not work the count, but he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground in the field or on the basepaths. All I remember about the last two years of Cedeno at NSBB was exasperation.
