I got through once, but didn't want the $140 tickets. Trying again and i can't get to the payment part of it.

this is what's happening to me...they'll let me select the tickets and then it throws me into the vwr, lame....seems like they have a load of good tickets left for the late sept. cubs series.

LOL, once again getting Brewer tix is harder than getting Cubs tix, because their system is ridiculous. They let you in to choose your seats, then they throw you into an interminable VWR loop, then you get kicked back out. Argh, horrible.

I finally got decent seats though. 5 for 7/31 in sec 216, row 4. That's pretty good--the front rows of the 2nd level have very good site lines.

And then I wanted something in those LF bleachers where all the batting practice homers go......got 'em for 7/30, but they are in the section behind the foul pole, DOH! (that's OK though, we just want to hang out and see if we can shag a ball or two).

just can't get to the payment screen again...damn transaction volume error.

"We're sorry, we were unable to process your request due to high transaction volumes. Please try to submit your request again."

go to hell, computer.

Trib[/url]"]MESA, Ariz. - The new premium seats at Wrigley Field between the Cubs' dugout and the left-field bullpen will be sponsored by the Chicago Board Options Exchange, sources said Friday.

The corporate tie-in with the CBOE is appropriate, considering the Cubs plan to auction the 70 seats to the highest bidders in a continuing effort to increase ballpark revenue.

.........

The CBOE seats will be in the area where the media photo pit currently exists, so several dozen fans will get up-close looks inside the dugout. Plans for the ticket auction are expected to be announced in the next week or two, but the Cubs are expecting upward of $1,000 per ticket for most prime games this summer — much more if the team is as strong as management believes.

.........

Instead of selling all the tickets in one auction before the season, the Cubs are expected to do it on a per-game basis, starting the auctioning a couple of weeks before each game. The final prices could rise significantly for the nine September home games. Or if the Cubs are out of contention in the final month, they could suffer a steep drop.

I rather like the idea of team performance being tied to how much they can get for those tix. Call me crazy, but I do.

I'm looking for tickets in the bleachers for the 7/12 game vs. the Giants. i have 6 tickets in the bleachers on 8/30 vs. Philly and 4 in the bleachers on 9/19 vs. the Cardinals. i would love to simply work out a trade rather than going through the pain have having to sell these and buy the others. if anyone is interested, let me know. more realistically, if anyone knows a site where i can actually trade tickets, please let me know.

thanks.

Now is a good time to follow auctions on eBay for some of the hottest games. Some can be had for very little above face + tickets.com fees.

I went down to Wrigley during lunch to pick up pairs to the 4/20 and 9/18 games. So far, I have tickets to 4 games and they're all in the upper deck reserved infield. They're by far the best value now. Everything else is so darn expensive.

By the way, to anyone who is going down there next week to pick up tickets at will call, the main ticket windows are closed due to the brick construction. They're currently using the ticket windows at Addison and Sheffield.

Has anyone figured out the password for the half price bleacher seats for college students? I'll be at Wrigley for two of those games, and while I have seats in the UD, I might upgrade if I could the bleachers for 1/2 off.

Last year it took a week or two for the codes to even be printed in school newspapers.

Is anyone going to try for the Dugout, Bullpen, or Bleacher Box tickets today?

Not I. If value dates were still $50 for dugout seats, then yes. Although to be honest, I was a little disappointed when I went a few years ago. I sat in row B or C behind home plate and because of the crown and being blocked by the ump, the view wasn't that great. Plus, the only player to get really close during pre-game warmups was Neifi.

I'm sure the seats will be better now that the crown is gone, though.

I think I'm going to give it a go. Are these seats available for every game or are they for selected games?
