Why haven't I got 3/4 of my confirmation e-mails?

sometimes they come out late...but at this juncture, you should have them...did you print out your confirmations?

Sometimes it's fun to bum around the ballpark solo for a day. I buy for a group though, I'm finding the Brewers are even tougher now than the Cubs because their system is worse (at least, it was last year).

I picked up a solo ticket for the value date 5/1 vs. the Brewers.

10th row outfield club box seat - not bad at all!

Also grabbed 3 for the 5/29 Rockies game. Good times!!

Anyone had luck selling on StubHub? Or is Ebay the way to go?

I got 4 to Memorial Day but only anticipate that I'll need 2.

I printed out the ones I didn't get confirmation for.

I mean the confirmation screen when you bought the tickets, not the confirmation emails.

Yeah I made 4 orders, and i got one e-mail. I printed out the e-mail of the confirmed one, and I printed out the confirmation screen of the three that I did not get e-mails for.

altogether, i got

5 for fri july 11vs sf

5 for sat july 12 vs sf

2 for wed may 28 vs la

2 for thur may 29 vs col

I checked and, as of 7:30pm, there are 28 sell-outs, including all three SF games. Without BBonds to heckle, what's the attraction? Ray Durham? I'm surprised that two of the Marlins games, two or three Pirates games and one or two Nats games are already sold out. Maybe because so many of the home games are in April this year -- almost all those are available. The Rox, Cards and Brewers I can understand, but the Pirates???

What a sweet haul. Thanks to my boss, who gratefully allowed me to hunt for tickets on his time and at work, I was able to get everything I wanted.

3x 6/22/08 BLEACHER Tickets for the White Sox game (swish!)

3x 6/11/08 against the Braves

3x 8/31/08 against the Phillies

3x 5/31/08 against the Rockies

That's not including the 20 some tickets I got for him. What an awesome morning, and now I'm all pumped up for baseball!!!! :yahoo:

Instead of the email lottery, it appears the Cubs will use VWR for bleacher box, dugout box, and bullpen box tickets.

Link.

Why would anyone buy bleacher box seats? You still get the crappy view and miss the benifit of GA and the overall party atmoshere since your seat is assigned. Plus you pay 23 more dollars for prime ticket for a stinkin back.

I've already contacted a fellow member and still waiting for his reply BUT I also wanted to appeal to other members at NSBB and ask any of you, whether or not you have any tickets between the Cubs and the Cards at Wrigley, available for purchase. Members of my family were planning a 40 yr. reunion at Wrigley Field. 40 years ago, my Father took all of us to Chicago for our first Cubs game, against the Cardinals. Jenkins against Ray Wasburn I think? I know Fergie didn't pitch against Gibson or Steve Carlton. Any way please let me know about the tickets, hopefully I wont have chemotherapy that week.

$75 is not too bad but I think they're going for less on Stub Hub...so let me think about it. Also two of my sisters might have a problem with work on Monday if the game is on Sunday. Probably the Friday or Saturday game would work out better-- or for that matter, the Cubs/Cards series in August. Let me check first with my sisters and their hubbys. Thanks.

Apparently MLB is having eBay remove a ton of auctions that have a Cubs logo or picture of a player because they don't want buyers to think that they're buying directly from the Cubs or MLB.

I wonder if they're just trying to push people to use StubHub since they make so much more money. Of course, in the process, eBay would be pissing off a lot of people and losing customers. It doesn't seem like it would be worth it.

By the way, has anyone had any luck buying tickets for hot games the first day Will Call opens up? I remember there being some scattered and limited view seats available at least one year, but they don't last long.

they don't want eBay biting into their own scalping industry

I'm sure the StubHub, which is owned by eBay, and Cubs/MLB deal is plenty profitable for all parties.

Anyone buying Brewers tickets when they go on sale this morning?

Thinking about it, although I'm not a big fan of Miller Park.

Feels like a warehouse when the roof is closed.

looks like they do their ticketing ass-backwards...let you select your tickets and then you're stuck in the VWR?

is this what anyone else is getting?
