Now this is a good poll. Very tough choice, but I went with Sabean because he's collected players way past their prime and basically run the Giants into the ground. Doesn't help that he decided to give all that money to Zito either.

yeah i almost didn't include him, but then i thought about it more and realized that he's not very good at all. I think at one point I thought he was a very good GM, just like I thought Dusty Baker was a good manager, because the team was successful for a string of years. As it turns out, Barry Bonds was pretty much responsible for masking many of the flaws that Sabean and Baker have.

And when talking about Sabean, the Nathan/Liriano/Bonser for Pierzynski swap was a disaster.

I can't see MacPhail getting any votes right now. He didn't do too well in his tenure here, but in his limited time over there, he's recognized that it's imperative to trade off his big names for some new talent.

I'm leaning towards Bavasi right now, personally.

i went with Krivsky. i originally was going to pick bowden, but he's actually managed to collect some decent offense on that team. now if only they had any pitching at all

I went with Hendry, and I used some logic for my reasoning.

I like it when other teams have lousy GM's. It improves the chances of stealing good players from those organizations if you have a good GM.

We don't have a good GM, therefore it's not even close. Hendry is the worst.

Whoever voted Bowden needs to look at what he's done over the past year and a half. Yeah the Cristian Guzman and Vinny Castilla deals were mind-numbing, but he's been pretty damn respectable since the Nats stopped being orphaned. Attribute that however you want, but he (sadly) doesn't belong in the conversation with these other idiots.

Krivsky is impressing me lately. He hired Dusty Baker, who was the worst possible choice for a team loaded with young talent, then he went 4/46 for a relief pitcher. Awesome.
