Tony's magic today came in the form of a Detroit player who should be whipped for trying to pick up the fumble rather than falling on it and ending the game.

I also heard the officials were as bad as they come in favor of the Cowboys from several reliable people that I know that could care less about who won.

The officials were awful. I don't care about either team, but it was pretty obvious on a number of plays that Detroit was getting screwed.

Kitna must have forgot to pray this morning or something and God was pissed at him.

Great playcalling Pittsburgh, you idiots.

First on 3rd and goal from the 1 you try and do a fade route to the corner. Then on 4th and 1 you try and run Hines Ward? Hey morans, why not run Najeh Davenport? You might know him as the guy who is something like 11-for-12 this year on picking up a first down with one yard to go and the same guy who has picked up a first down in such situations twice already this game. Well done idiots. You deserve to lose this game.

patriots are beasts.

Or perhaps Pittsburgh is simply getting exposed? The Steelers had the 32nd ranked schedule coming in, including no games against top-13 teams. Let's not forget the Pats last two games.

This game is a lot closer with Troy Palamalu playing safety.

Yes, I agree. Safety help was awful twice, and thus an integral part in two long TD's. I think Pittsburgh is a good team, but we didn't have much to go on until today. This is a team that lost to the Jets and beat Miami 3-0.

Watching Jon Kitna whine like a school girl was great.

Almost as great as watching Romo act like a little bitch when things weren't going great.

The Miami game shouldnt really be brought up. The weather for that game was ridiculous. Im not saying Pitt is a great team, but I think with a healthy Palamau this game is alot closer.

I preferred watching him throw for the game winning touchdown.

I didn't know you were a Cowboys fan.

I hate the Cowboys, but as long as they keep the Packers out of the Super Bowl, I'm a-ok with them.

At what point does Rivers get the Rex Grossman treatment? He's having a horrid season.

If SD was having a better season, my guess is that Rivers would be getting the Grossman treatment. The only thing Rivers has done better than Grossman did last year was a better completion percentage, and that doesn't mean much without the other stats to accompany it.

Pretty good 4th quarter comeback by Rivers huh? He's had a bad year, but the whole team has played pretty poorly at times. That will happen when there is a change in nfl coaches. Rivers is on a different planet from Grossman talent-wise, just went through a slump this year.

ETA: And Rivers had ZERO time to throw the ball until the fourth quarter. Norv finally quit calling such slow developing play and switched to max protection. If you give him time, he's as accurate as anyone in the league.

Yeah, we don't have any pro teams here, so when I was a kid I latched onto the 1-15 Cowboys during Aikman's rookie year.

Makes sense. I never really thought about it.
