haha, outstanding work by the kU and U of I folk latching on to OU's triumph. They actually held Mizzou under 5 touchdowns, you see.

 

If it helps, once WVU lost, a Missouri win would've helped Illinois more, so I was rooting for you.

The Cotton Bowl! Enjoy the 20 degree temperatures, the dilapidated rest rooms, the uncomfortable seats and the 11 am start time!

Of Missouri's? Probably one of the Oklahoma games. If only the Fiesta would've had a chance to do the honorable thing and picked Missouri for OU/Mizzou III. Surely Missouri would cover this time around.

No no, which Illinois loss in January was your favorite? The time they got shut out by Clemson? What about when they got blown out by UCLA? I think January '08 will be my favorite Illinois loss, but we'll see.

At least U of I isnt just a one hit wonder. Maybe you guys can make another non bcs bowl in 10 years or so.

Haha, clearly the Illini are destined to be a perennial Rose Bowl selection, what with them doubling their previous 2 year's win total. Maybe next year you can keep from falling down by 4 TDs so the "we should've won" excuses don't sound worse than Notre Dame/USC circa 2005.
