Noah in theory could put up what Chandler is doing right now. Do we know yet? No. But getting rid of Wallace allows the Bulls to see what they have in Noah, so yes, this is a good move. I really is that simple.

i'm all for getting rid of Wallace.

and stating that his PER once lead rookies...c'mon. it may have been true, but you'd really rather have Noah than Kevin Durant?

GCG wasn't arguing for Noah over Durant, was he? He was just pointing out that your comment that Noah is garbage was incorrect.

time will tell. i haven't been impressed with him at all in the times i've seen him.

How much have you seen him?

i've seen probably 20 or so games this year.

And you haven't been impressed with him? Wow.

i haven't been impressed with most of the team, so maybe my view is skewed. i'm not hoping he sucks by any stretch. if he gets more PT and breaks out down the stretch, i'll be thrilled

He's played well during the time he's been in, especially since he's a rookie without consistent PT who desperately needs some muscle on him. He's definitely flashed the potential to be an above average big man.

Oh, way to endear yourself, Wallace. Noah was right.

Seriously if you read hes quotes they are laughable. Making tons of excuses about injuries, and how he plays hard every night. Well Ben, you guys were sucking when everybody was healthy, and I think we need to ask Skiles about you playing hard every night.

He was terrible, but at the same time the Bulls were very strange with him. Getting on him over a headband. We should all just be happy he is gone, Ben included.

While the rule about headbands was dumb, it was still a rule, and everybody on the team should follow them.

I guess, but if the Bulls had drafted LeBron I wonder if they would have taken the same stance with him? Wallace was paid like a superstar, then treated like a rookie. I can see why he was peeved at the Bulls too.

Meh, if not getting to wear a headband while getting paid a crapload of money pisses him off, well I dont know what to say. Hes a baby, and a coach killer. I wonder how long Clevelands coach will be around now that Wallace is there?

The sad thing is he went from being very underrated to very overrated the minute he signed the Bulls deal. For years he was all effort. Then he got paid.

He was made by Sheed.

ESPN has picked it up.

In a three-way trade with Chicago and Seattle that has been submitted for league approval, NBA front-office sources say that Cleveland will come away with four new teammates for James, headlined by Ben Wallace from the Bulls and sharpshooter Wally Szczerbiak from the Sonics.

. . .

The Bulls, apparently abandoning their gamble on Wallace less than two seasons into the lucrative four-year deal they used to sign him away from Detroit, would get Cavaliers forward Drew Gooden and swingman Larry Hughes along with Cavs reserves Cedric Simmons and Shannon Brown.

The Sonics, shedding Szczerbiak in the name of additional payroll flexibility, come away with the expiring contracts of Cleveland's Ira Newble and Chicago's Adrian Griffin as well as Cavs veteran Donyell Marshall.

If I recall he was a decent player in Washington, obviously Sheed made him better. Sheed is a great player. I think a lot of people don't realize just how talented Rasheed Wallace really is. The left handed three in the All-Star game is pretty impressive.

I don't mind this deal. Brown is intriguing (7 ppg in 15 mpg this season), Gooden is a decent presence inside to go with Thomas/Noah, and best of all, we dump Ben Wallace's worthless rear end. Lost Joe Smith, who I liked, but the Bulls will be a better team for this deal.

Agreed, the Bulls made out probably better than what I expected they could get for Wallace. Good deal by Paxson, to recognize his mistake, and make a change.

its sucks Duhon is still here, but oh well.

Duhon has played better lately, I'd rather keep him than a 2nd rounder that we'll use on someone who would've never played for the Bulls anyway.

Shannon I Dropped The Soap! Brown baby. I'm really stoked about this.

Wow, what am I missing? His numbers don't look that great though I did like him when he turned pro.

potential? They list him as a G/F, but he's just 6'4".....maybe he was buried on the depth chart? Neither he nor Simmons did much offensively in their minutes, but maybe they'll get more PT on the Bulls

He hasn't got the minutes, though coming to Chicago won't change that up.....

Anybody checked to see if TT is on suicide watch? Have fun with that TT

Why? He'll still get his fair share of minutes.

I think he means Trans Tiger the Cavs fan.

Maybe if we traded Duhon as well, he would of had some minutes to show off what he can do. It's going to be tough for him to crack a guard rotation with Hinrich, Gordon, Thabo, and Duhon all in front of him.

Thabo really does come out on the bad end of this.

Ah...yeah, that would make sense. I think they easily won the Seattle side of that deal though.

I wouldn't be suprised if the Bulls simply try and buy out Hughes.

That would be nice if possible. Thabo needs the minutes.

and Larry Hughes. too many guards right now. plus they've traded 3 players for 4, so someone has to go off the 15 man roster
