Andrew Bynum went down with a sprained left knee but had to be helped off the court. X-Rays were negative but there will be an MRI tomorrow. I really hope he's not out for a significant amount of time for the sole fact that I don't know if I can handle Kwame Brown playing more minutes.

Goodbye potential Division Crown and top 2 seed in the playoffs. Hell, goodbye home court advantage in the first round. Bynum is out 8 weeks with a "subluxation of his left kneecap". If the Lakers were in the East, they'd probably be able to get home court advantage in the first round. But in the West where, right now 1 game separates the No. 1 from the No. 6 seed, HCA in the first round is all but out of the question.

All I can hope is that this injury doesn't lead to a tailspin like the Lamar Odom injury did last year.

Could anybody envision a scenario where the Lakers try and pry Ben Wallace from the Bulls? Sure, he can't score, but on a team that could do a lot of damage in the West, he could be a good fit to help keep them afloat in the front court until Bynum gets back. He'd be a nice fit for them come playoff time as well. Not sure who they could offer back to the Bulls in addition to Kwame though.

He's a bum, please take him.

The Bulls are a mess right now. It's pretty sad when the Cubs are the Chicago team with the most optimism right now. Actually, the Blackhawks may give them a run for their money.

Blackhawks have sunk back down. But there's hope for the future if some of these young studs can figure it out.

I'm glad to at least have some hope with the Cubs.

The Bulls are a trainwreck, and if Paxson thinks he can fire Skiles and thereby assign blame to him for it, then he's sorely, sorely mistaken.

He can't score, can't jump, can't defend, can't rebound unless the ball bounces right to him, oh and is a locker room cancer. So I really think LA will be knocking down door to get him.

Yeah, at this point I would probably just give Wallace to someone to free up the money, if that were possible.

I don't think the Lakers, or anyone else, would want him. He's done.

There were some Wallace and Tyrus for McGrady rumors floating around last week...

And do you think they'd want just Wallace alone? I don't think so. Tyrus would be the core of that deal.

I don't care who they really want, as long as they are willing to take Wallace with him.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you your 2007-2008 Chicago Bulls!

Thanks Pax!

Pax was on WSCR this morning and flat out said the rumors for McGrady rumors were flat out ridiculous. He then went on a big rant about journalists needing to be held accountable for stuff they make up. It was a pretty good interview this morning, and North hit him pretty hard. North told Pax the Wallace signing has been a terrible signing, in which Pax didnt say a word.

I heard part of it. Much as I don't like Mike North, he really opened up on Pax and I thought it was great to hear.

I don't know if Pax is living in some kind of dreamworld or what, but he seemed like he had no idea why anyone would be upset with him. I do give him full points for not hanging up though.

North also told Pax that the Skiles move was a poor one, to which Pax responded "it was made for the right reasons at the time." That's completely subjective nonsense -- right reasons according to whom?

Yeah, we don't need a player of T-Mac's caliber on our collegiate team. Thanks Paxson.

I can't believe I'm saying this but...

I'd rather have Kwame Brown for the sole reason that he's gone after this year. If the Lakers trade for Ben Wallace, even if it included Brown leaving, they're stuck with Wallace for the rest of this year and two more years which would be a nightmare. Wallace isn't a good fit for the Lakers team and I'd rather have Brown starting with Rony Turiaf backing him up. Turiaf is just as productive, if not more, as Wallace is:

Per 48 minutes:

Turiaf: 17.8 points, 10 boards, 3.4 assists, 2.68 blocks

Wallace: 6.4 points, 13.1 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.54 blocks

Hey Big Ben with his 4 points and 3 rebounds..there is a leader for ya!

I have seriously had it....bench/trade/release all the vets on this team and let the kids Noah and Thomas play..tank this season and get yourself a shot @ Rose/Gordon/Mayo.

There is no point to trotting Wallace out there every night...WTF!

I didn't think it was possible for my hatred of Kwame Brown to grow any more than it already is. But then I watched the Lakers-Suns game tonight. I think this is the first time I've ever seriously wished injury upon a player from one of my favorite teams. I would give just about anything to get him off the team - with the exception of a trade for Ben Wallace. He missed a couple layups and a dunk tonight and the dunk he had nobody guarding him. He wasn't trying to dunk over anybody or go around anybody. He just flat out missed it. At to that his stone hands which allowed seven turnovers including multiple horrible and lazy passes. I hate him.

I've heard rumors of Chris Webber coming to the Lakers and, on behalf of Laker fans everywhere, I say please get this done Mitch Kupchak. For the love of god get Kwame Brown off the court. Believe me, this isn't easy to say because I hate Chris Webber and have for years. But he is better than Kwame Brown. He may be able to score as poorly as Brown does and still can't jump anymore, but at least Webber knows how to pass the ball well which Brown is completely incapable of doing.

I hate you Kwame Brown. I hate you more than I've ever hated a player on one of my favorite teams ever before. I hate Kwame Brown more than, believe it or not, Jose Macias and Neifi Perez.

The Lakers fans love Kwame Brown..and by love I mean absolutely HATE. He needs to be traded for Ben Wallace ASAP.

What's Kwame's salary? I'd be interested in dumping Wallace on the Lakers just to rid ourselves of his horrible contract.

Kwame is making $9M I believe and is a FA after this year which is why, from the perspective of a Lakers fan, a Brown for Wallace deal should never, EVER happen.

...and after leading for the entire game, the Bulls are now down to the Warriors by 4 with 3min left.
