Your post made it sound like you were assuming that no news tuesday meant no news period, which isn't what Carroll seemed to mean.

I'm not sure if you're referring to Elliott Maddox or Garry Maddox, but neither one of them would be coming back because they were never Cubs in the first place. Plus, they played in the 70s/80s.
