Ohio State and Wisconsin tied at halftime. GO BUCKEYES!!!! I just threw up in my mouth saying that. :?

I don't have a problem saying Go Buckeyes! I hate them a lot less than I do Wisconsin.

Huh? You hate Wisconsin more than Ohio State? Why on earth? Wisconsin is inherently likable; they have the best coach in the league, and play smart, fundamental basketball. They're a joy to watch. On the other hand, Ohio State is, well, Ohio State. They're easily the least likable team in the Big Ten across the sports.

But, of course, Go Buckeyes in this game.

Also, if the Big Ten is gonna get 5 NCAA teams, Ohio St. is gonna have to win AT LEAST one of the 4 remaining (including today) games against the 4 tourney teams in the conference. As much crap as the conference has gotten this year, the Big Ten could have 4 top 5 seeds in the tourney. The only conference that looks like it can match that is the Big East, who could have 4 also, but that's in a 16-team league.

Well, most of that hate comes from football, which there's no need for an IU fan to hate OSU, because they can't compete anyway. Wisconsin plays the "right way", but it's also frustrating to lose to a team that's usually less talented than IU, especially the way we lost a few games ago.

I think Ohio State is going to get a big win soon and end up in the tournament. They won't be a good seed, but IU, UW, MSU and PU all figure to be.

Well that shows that good teams and good coaching will beat out better talent at times. Wisconsin does recruit high calibur players. They don't get 5 star recruits like Gordon, but they consistently plug in 4 star and 3 star recruits. Plus, the whole "star" thing is not an exact science. Guys like Devin Harris and Alando Tucker were not highly sought after.

Ohio St. sucks. About 5 empty possessions while Wisconsin was held scoreless at the end. Of course, they were getting hacked most of the time, but they aren't a tourney team right now if I'm selecting.

Wisconsin has two five-star players, three four-star players and two three-star players in their rotation. There are a couple players listed on rivals that I've never heard of and also might be on the roster. Wisconsin may not have anyone like Eric Gordon or DJ White, but they have talent. You take that talent and the best coach in the league and you'll win a lot of games. I hope IU can get a coach that will run the program like Bo Ryan, and supplement it with the better talent IU allows.

36 in a row at the Joyce behind an incredible performance from McAlarney. 30 points on 9/11 shooting from 3 (a school record for three-point makes). Now all that's left for ND is the Louisville game on Thursday, followed by their final three games coming against the dregs of the league. That ND/Louisville game will almost certainly decide at least a share of the Big East title.

In addition, FOXSports.com was told that there are issues involving the holdovers. Bassett and Crawford both received three-game suspensions earlier this season after failing drug tests.

The fun just doesn't stop eh? :?

They failed a couple of drug tests. Oh the humanity!!!

slip, slip, slip.

And what does that have to do with DJ White? If you are going to troll, you could at least stay on topic.

He was one hot kid yesterday. We're in deep doodoo right now and it isn't going to get better. There is no way we can make a run at the BE tourney with just 7 guys, at least one that will boost us into the tournament and I hope Donte Greene thinks he's better than he is and goes pro ASAP.

Well crap... The Cats in a must win game tonight in Manhattan vs UT, and we get Ed Hightower. I may as well not watch. There will be whistles blown every 35 seconds.

Cyrus Tate was named Big Ten player of the week for last week. He's averaging 10.7 points and 7.3 boards (3rd in the conf.) in Big Ten games this year on 72% from the field (1st in the conf.).

Not bad for a guy who wasn't a real Big Ten player according to Illinois fans.

Tate was one of the very few reasons I did not vomit all over myself during that Michigan State game. A well-deserved honor after a terrific week.

that or you hadn't had enough to drink yet

Did you enjoy KSU's time in the driver's seat for the regular season title ;-).

Nevermind about the Hightower post... My source of information admitted being wrong about this one.. :)

It really concerns me how much he referees (he did the ND game yesterday) considering he's the superintendent of the school district my wife works in. Seems like he should be spending more time doing, you know, his job (that my tax dollars fund by the way).
