I'd be shocked if the NCAA doesn't amp up the sanctions on Sampson. You can't let a coach violate the terms of his previous punishment and let him off with anything but fiercer punishment.

 

I think the NCAA will add sanctions, they should add sanctions. However, I just doubt it will be anything that seriously inhibits IU from putting good teams on the court.

Duke, should be much improved from last year, with Kyle Singler in, and Gerald Henderson having the whole off season healthy. i saw him at a couple of practices and exhibitions and he is the best athlete in duke history including grant hill IMO. he will be in the acc all-conference first team and possibly creep up in the national 2nd or 3rd teams.

Illinois looked like a defensive juggernaut last night. Even without Shaun Pruitt till the 2nd half the Illini only gave up 39 points total.
