It seems almost inevitable that the Cubs will win games 3 and 4, and then lose in 5, becoming the first team down 2-0 to force a game 5 and lose.

In heartbreaking fashion.

I'm furious right now. I cannot believe the pathetic display this team has put on thus far in the playoffs. I really hope Lou breaks his foot off in somebodies ass today.

And what makes me even more furious--I still have hope! What the hell!? Why!? Why do I do this to myself!?

I think we win both games at wrigley and then all the sudden we go back to Arizona thinking OMG I DONT CARE HOW WE STARTED, WE ONLY HAVE TO WIN ONE GAME AND WE'RE IN THE NLCS. And we'll lose.

i can't believe that you can't believe that the Cubs are playing like the Cubs

He should probably start with his own (ass).

undoubtedly we will force a game five, in which lilly will pitch 8 innings, give up 1 er and leave it up to dempster to close it out. We will be up 3-1 and Dempster will give up a 3 run bomb to Micah Owings (pinch hitting) and we will all be very mad, yet sad

True, but most of the blame, in my opinion, still has to go on Soriano/Lee/Ramirez.

Actually, most of the blame should be placed on Ted Lilly.

Ted lilly has nothing to do with losing game 1.

Soriano/Lee/Ramirez haven't done crap this entire series.

Can you imagine what it'll be like at Wrigley if Chris Young homers off of Rich Hill to start tomorrow's game?

i was telling my buddy last night that someone should just call up ned yost and tell him there has been a mistake...the cubs really didn't win the division...no one knows why there are playing in the playoffs...get your team together and take over your rightful place...

Bench the three bums.

Hard to believe I'm not a major league manager, huh?

And for good reason. I hope Wrigley boos the piss out of the Cubs until they play like major leaguers.

Don't want to get booed? Don't suck and play like you give a damn.
