Sheets can't go, so Cappy gets the call.

Cappy has actually been alright lately, but I believe in games he has pitched the Crew have lost something around 10 in a row.

Maddux needs to channel his younger self for one more game.

I thought Cap has dropped his last 10 decisions, and that the "Cap appearance = Brewers loss" streak is actually longer.

Greg Maddux is my most favorite player of all time. That said, I hope he's vintage and pitches a gem. I will be wearing my Greg Maddux Cubs jersey in support of him.

Ok... I gotta talk myself through this, even though I'm very sure that the Cubs will drag this out as long as they possibly can...

If, IF, Cubs beat Cincy and Fathers down the Brewers tomorrow night... Cubs win Central........ *meakly asks* right?

So, right now, its at;

83-76 --

81-78 2.0

IF Cubs win and Brewers lose, we'll be at;

84-76 --

81-79 3.0;

with 2 to play... so yes, the Central can be clinched tomorrow night.............

Oh crap... I'm frakking nervous as all hell now. 8-[

They've done a noble job taking down the Brewers for us. God bless you guys.

The Padres are just going to have to score more tonight, because neither pitcher is going to hold'em.

Yeah, I don't think Maddog is going to keep the Crew down today. They'll put up a 5 spot on him, probably.

Padres will need to bring their bats. Every single game is critical for them as well.

The only game I was worried about was last nights game. That was the only Brewer starter with shutdown stuff. I think the Padres will take 2 more games this series.

I think they'll need to for their own reasons.

But I have a feeling the Crew will take 2/3 and the Cubs will need to win one or it will be a tie-break in Chicago.
