The heartbreak will be sealed and final before the 11th game starts. Cubs lose to the no-name pitcher who plays for the team buried in the standings.

Apathy is setting in. Unless the Cubs win, in which case this is the year again.

Yay ESPN!

I have the distinct feeling that, because Athens, Tennessee is apparently in the Cincinnatti Reds viewing area, that I'll be blacked out from this game even though it's on ESPN.

Apparently, somebody out there thinks I can watch Reds games on local TV. Or that I can just hop, skip and jump up to Cincy to catch the game. Heck, it's just two states away. :?

zero confidence

They'll be fine since you're not going (unless Mark is a bigger jinx).

Nice..Our ACE is going... Polls had 78 to 22 Lilly over Z...Man Z must feel embarassed after that

With the night he had, no one should be surprised by those results.

Whats Lilly's record after a loss the day before?

It's amazing how in one night it went from "this is the year!" to "heartbreak is setting in."

Cubs will lose this one and get swept the weekend series. Hello Division Title, Milwaukee Brewers.

Fixed.

Can't win them all. I'll take a spilt from their two best pitchers. Reds should be going for the sweep today, so I'm not at all upset. We have a chance to take the series. That's all you can ask for...

In one day Cubs nation feels that the Brewers will dominate the Braves, Cards, and Padres and we have no chance vs. the Reds, Marlins, and Pirates.

Ben Sheets may miss his next start,,,We are in fine shape.

He may miss a lot more tha that, and dont forget that we face the Pirates this weekend and most likely miss Gorzelanny and Snell.

Really? That's fine news indeed. I didn't know that. Thank god!
