Tim Tebow is going to die against LSU if Urban plays him the way he has in the first two SEC games. Today they barely won but Urban ran Tebow 27 times. 27! WHO THE HELL RUNS THEIR QB 27 TIMES.....and lets him throw it 35 times? The offense was Tebow left, tebow right, screen to Harvin.

Wow. Illinois looked...good. On both sides of the ball. Won a Big Ten opener for the first time in 14 years (in 2001, the dropped the opener and then ran the table).

 

They actually have a decent shot at a bowl. Need to win 3 more among games against Ball State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Iowa, Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, and Wisconsin.

I know you're joking, but NW has won the Big 10 championship more recently than Indiana, Mich St, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

 

Historically, they have more Big 10 championships than Indiana, MSU, and the same # as Purdue.

 

Indiana has a much more embarrassing football program, IMO.

We're not going to escape this game alive (literally). Ohio State is going after their heads and they've already knocked out two players. One was just a horribly vicious blind-side helmet-to-helmet special teams block.

 

If Illinois has a decent team, this weekend will screw recruiting for several years.
