I've officially become tired of seeing the Cardinals and Houston leading early in their games and the Cubs losing early in their games.

I hope today and tomorrow are the last days that Cedeno starts for the rest of the year. That's my guess to what will happen with Lou giving Theriot 2 days off in a row.

 

I hope Cedeno goes 2-3 with a HR and a walk each day and starts a lot more down the stretch.

 

Even if he did that the next two days, I couldn't assume that it would continue for the rest of the month. Cedeno has much more upside, but he also has a lot more downside than Theriot. I have no confidence whatsoever that Cedeno could outperform Theriot down the stretch, even though Theriot has been pretty terrible the last month.

 

Hey, I never said I had confidence in Cedeno, I'm just saying what I hope happens.

 

I don't have a ton of confidence in Theriot on an everyday basis either. Ryan has pretty much put up the numbers I thought he could, but I didn't think he'd be able to do it over 150 games. I'm just hoping the frequent work won't eventually expose/wear him down.

yeah im pretty sure because the game is on wgn. my espn at work will be blacked out in about five minutes.
