I'll take 2004's power thank you very much.

Results are the same. We miss the playoffs.

What happened to the people who actually did some PbP on here? These "Game" Threads have turned into Gripe threads and half the time, those of us who can't watch have zero clue as to what is actually happening in the game.

Thanks in advance to those of you who do try.

 

Not trying to be a dick, but there are things such as gamecast and yahoo, who do pbp, and you can follow every pitch.

 

Guess you don't have to try. How often do those freeze up? How hard is it to comment on a game in a game thread?

Turned into gripe threads? They've always been this way. They become celebration threads when the Cubs actually play well. It's just been so long you have probably forgotten.

 

They have always been this way, to a degree. There used to be consistent pbp.

Wow, amazing. You predict the worst every inning and every game so when you're right you say "Told ya so" and when you're wrong you just say "happy I'm wrong."

 

I have no idea what joy or satisfaction people get out of that.

 

You have no idea the joy and satisfaction I get out of the Cubs predictably sucking, more times than not.

 

It's just such a miserable way to watch a game or do anything, I don't get it. These game threads have turned into everyone trying to be the first to say "game over" when we make the first out or give up a hit. I don't see the fun in that. We're in first place and playing meaningful games in late August. It's not as horrible as some think.
