What happened to the people who actually did some PbP on here? These "Game" Threads have turned into Gripe threads and half the time, those of us who can't watch have zero clue as to what is actually happening in the game.

Turned into gripe threads? They've always been this way. They become celebration threads when the Cubs actually play well. It's just been so long you have probably forgotten.

Ehh, 2004 was a good team too.

this is a good team. the pitching staff is good, we field ok. We just hit like crap.

 

Meh, it's a slightly above average team. They're hovering around .500 despite playing in an attrocious division. The 2004 team won 89 games despite more injuries to important players, that was easily the best team since 1984 if not much longer than that.
