So I think we can all forget the discussion about Big Ten being close to the SEC.

 

LMAO. Michigan.

 

To be fair, a lot of people seemed to agree that Michigan was wildly overrated. Even before today I didn't think they were even one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the Big Ten.

 

that is such crap.. not you in specific. but everyone thought michigan was the best team. and i was screaming that they didnt have the defense!! but in my wildest dreams i didnt think they would lose today.

Me too, I knew they were overrated. The thing is though, I think App State is a serious contender for their championship. A part of this has to be stupid scheduling. Christ just play Central Michigan and enjoy your week 1 win.

 

 

Didnt Michigan originally have Ball St or someone else from the MAC on their schedule this year. Only to knock them off and schedule App st instead.

I didn't know that. If that's true it's double bad. Did App State win like 2 championships recently? It's like playing Marshall from the Randy Moss days........sure they're in a lower division but perhaps a true pushover would be a better decision for week 1.

I watched two or three analysts on ESPN alone yesterday say they thought Michigan was the most vulnerable top 10 team and that Wisconsin was the best B10 team.

Illinois' defense looks like it has improved a bit.

 

Juice is still the most inaccurate passer in the NCAA though.

NIU's defense with 3 very good drives so far against Iowa's offense. The offense is struggling, though.

 

I'm going to the SIU/NIU game next, pretty pumped about it.

it was awesome listening to the score updates of the Michigan game during the PSU game. Then the PSU game was over, and everyone in all the suites turned their TV's to the Michigan game. The last 2 minutes of the Michigan game was 1,000,000 times more exciting than any of the PSU game. The cheering could be heard down the hall in every suite on that blocked kick.

As I left, me and a few hundred people who were exiting watched the Michigan game from the TVs on the ground level. It was unbelievably insane. We all jumped around and screamed after that last blocked FG. My throat is sore from screaming.
