I'm bored so I predict:

Soriano

Theriot

Ward

Aramis

Floyd

Derosa

Pagan

Kendall

Lilly

Possibly with Kendall and Pagan switching spots.

Lou will want Kendall to get comfy, so I say the switch happens. Jason 7, Pagan 8. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing Jones carry the hot bat in center.

What's the weather looking like down by the stadium. I saw accuweather has about 50% rain from 11-2, does it look that way?

With the way that luck has been on the Cubs side lately, it's a fair bet that the patch of rain on Lake Michigan is headed directly for Comiskey.

Just returned from Wrigley this morning. I hope they can take it to Morris today. Although I must say he was very cool with th fans out in the bleachers tuesday night. I used to hate that guy, but he has my respect now.

Still hope he sucks today though...

Anyone else sick of seeing Feliz (sporting a robust 2007 OBP of .281, lifetime .287) getting on base and drawing BB's?

Terribly. It doesn't irk me more when a below average player consistantly kills the cubs. During the Pitts series, I couldn't watch when .270 Xavier Nady came up, knowing he was going to gap it everytime.

What about Kevin Mench? I was ](*,) when Cubs walked him when he rarely does it.

FYI, The Score is talking about "rumblings" that Izturis has been traded but take it with a grain of salt.

I'll pretty much need to hear a live Hendry interview stating this, or at least a cubs.com front page story before I'll buy it. It's way too good to be worth getting my hopes up over.

Feliz has 18 BB's on the season and has drawn 3 this series!!!!

I agree. Ofman mentioned it in passing during his 11am update. Again, take it with a grain of salt.

Izturis was traded to the Pirates for a PTBNL

:D!!!

If the PTBNL has a pulse, this is a great deal.

Please don't tease us like that. Source?

It's breaking news on The Score. They must have gotten confirmation of the trade in the last 20 minutes b/c it was mentioned as a possibility at the top of the hour.

Assuming this trade is true, who takes his place on the team? It's got to be Cedeno, right?

Yeah, several sources were indicating a week or two ago that they wanted to trade Izturis so that Cedeno could come up. I'm not sure exactly when he will with Lee's suspension (and the callup of Jake Fox today), but if he isn't up by Tuesday I'll be very surprised.

I agree. Fox is up as a filler at 1B and RF until Lee is back. He's a right handed hitter that has gotten to lefties pretty well. After that, Hot hitting Cedano might be welcomed back.

You know what doesn't make sense? If Fox is going to play RF against lefties until Lee comes back, he isn't going to play any RF because the Cubs don't face any lefties until Lee comes back.
