He got the ball in the air to the outfield. It just didn't happen to be deep enough.

If it was Theriot, Pie or Fontenot, there would be 5 posts applauding the approach.

Oh yeah he smoked it. Maybe if his ass wouldn't have been in the Mariners dugout he would have been able to actually drive the ball.

you can't be a good team if jones and izturis get meaningful ab's.

jones looks like he just woke up from a nap 90% of the time. i think he wants out.

Are you kidding me? That ball was barely out of the infield.

Yes I was kidding. He bailed out per usual. Makes it hard to drive the ball.

Didn't happen to be deep enough? There wasn't one pitch taken for a strike. Just a couple fouls and a weak pop-up, that's a bad at bat by an impatient incompetent hitter.

I agree. Jones and Izturis are the best case ever for addition by subtraction. Ever.

Only way he's going to get out is if he starts playing so we can trade his sorry ass.

I've never hate someone so much in a Cubs uniform as much as Junk Jones. I refuse to call him Jacque. It's junk forever.
