Hendry almost landed him at the deadline a few years back and has courted him in free agency in years past. With the Cubs recent bullpen struggles and Dempster to the rotation maddness might the Cubs take a look at Troy

That just might be the greatest thing ever. I'm glad we had Beck, it was hilarious. My friends still laugh about his effeminate prance to cover first base in the 1998 LDS against the Braves. Doubt anyone remembers that, but it was great.

I'll always remember him not getting his fat ass over to cover first in Milwuakee early in 1999. Grace threw the ball to nobody, and I think the Brewers came back in the 9th and ended up winning.
